Esprit Singers is dedicated to musical excellence and artistic integrity in the performance of both new and innovative music as well as treasured repertoire within the classical choral tradition. Under the artistic leadership of Valdine Anderson, Esprit Singers seeks to create, collaborate and celebrate new and rarely performed music with a diverse repertoire. Through commissions and premieres of new works by Canadian composers, we pursue to challenge and expand our vocal capabilities and potential.

Since its founding in 2011 as a twelve- voice ensemble, Esprit Singers has established a distinguished national and international reputation for artistic excellence, innovative programming, and leadership in the advancement of treble choral music. The ensemble has been invited to perform at significant artistic gatherings, including Choral Canada’s prestigious PODIUM 2026 National Choral Conference and Festival in Victoria, British Columbia, and the Royal Canadian College of Organists’ national conference, Organ Festival Canada 2025, in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Internationally, the choir toured Iceland in 2018 by invitation, participated in the Tapestry International Festival of Women’s Choirs in Vancouver in 2015, and represented Manitoba at the National Music Festival in Edmonton in 2013.
